All-Electronic Press Force Measurement during injection molding
May 31, 2022
All-Electronic Press Force Measurement Since the all-electric injection molding machine does not have a vector fluid that causes motion, hydraulic pressure detection cannot be performed. Therefore, load sensors are usually used to measure the elastic deformation using an extensometer to directly measure the force. All-electric injection molding machine manufacturers have developed a variety of elastic components and assembly plants corresponding to the extensometer. Another difference is that the back pressure and its control can be achieved by increasing the resistance to the axial movement generated by the injection motor, while the other motor causes the screw to rotate and the subsequent material to plasticize. In the past, some machinery manufacturers used measurement systems installed in the nozzle's transducer and later gave up the system because of "functionality and reliability."
