6. Due to the combination of the molten material and the metal insert, the gap of the metal insert can be designed to be narrower than that of the press-in molding method, and the molding reliability of the composite product is higher.

7. Select the appropriate resin and molding conditions, that is, for fragile products (such as glass, coils, electrical parts, etc.), it can also be sealed and fixed with resin.

8. Select the appropriate mold structure, the insert can also be completely enclosed in resin.

9. After the insert is formed, it can be made into a product with a hollow groove after being processed by the core hole.

10. The vertical injection molding machine is combined with the manipulator and the insert product alignment device. Most of the insert molding projects can realize automatic production.

Automatic Insert Molding System Design Selection Considerations

1. Metal insert molding is prone to uneven molding shrinkage, and the shape and dimensional accuracy of important parts should be tested to the limit in advance.

2. The metal insert is easy to deform and shift during the injection process. The mold design and mold shape design should fully consider the easy maintenance of the metal insert. For products where the blade shape cannot be changed, prior testing is essential.

3. When the metal inserts are arranged and separated and the conveyor is used, the contact between the metal inserts and the inserts and the vibrating ball may cause slight damage to the surface of the inserts and affect the product quality. Quality tolerance limits should be confirmed in advance.

4. Due to the stamping process, the sawtooth shape, warpage amount, material thickness difference, diameter difference, and thickness difference caused by gold processing should be measured in advance. On this basis, the design of the automation device and the design of the mold structure are carried out.

5. Try to solve the mold gate position, molding cycle, etc. that have a predictive effect on the mold structure or have corresponding improvement measures.

6. It should be confirmed whether the metal insert needs to be preheated or dried. The purpose is to ensure the molding quality and stability of the product.

7. Various test devices installed in the mold are used to ensure the stability of the molding action under the influence of environmental conditions such as heat, force, and vibration of the mold. It should be confirmed whether to use.

8. In order to prevent metal inserts and fine pieces of molded products from accumulating in the cavity, a blowing device can be installed if necessary.

9. Due to the high investment price of system equipment, it is necessary to fully consider whether the output can be guaranteed after the equipment is put into operation. In the case of a special machine, it is necessary to ensure that the product is updated in no form, under the premise of continuous production for several years.

10. When using a general-purpose machine, it is necessary to confirm how many combinations of blades can be produced in small batches of various varieties. If the mass production cannot be guaranteed as a whole, it is difficult to recover the fixed assets of a single product. In this case, after replacing some equipment, it can adapt to the demand for variety update within a certain range.

11. Determining the insert molding rate, productivity and molding cost conditions, such as the accuracy of the metal insert, the shape of the insert, whether the mold is conducive to the shape of the insert and the shape of the molded article, and many other technical factors.

12. The effective combination of the injection machine, the mold, the automation device and how to function in a short time is the key to determining the automatic insert molding system. It is recommended to consult with manufacturers who have considerable experience and experience.
