Ultrasonic welding application method
1. Welding method:
Under moderate pressure, the welding head vibrating with ultrasonic waves generates frictional heat on the joint surface of two pieces of plastic, instantly melting the joint. The welding strength is comparable to that of the body. Suitable workpiece and reasonable interface design can achieve water-tight. and gas tightness and avoid the inconvenience caused by using auxiliary products for efficient and clean welding.
2. Riveting and welding methods:
The ultrasonic welding head with ultra-high frequency vibration is pressed on the protruding tips of plastic products to melt instantly into a rivet shape and mechanically rivet the materials of different materials together.
3. Embedding:
Through the preaching of the welding head and proper pressure, the metal parts (such as nuts, screws, etc.) are squeezed into the reserved plastic holes and fixed at a certain depth. When finished, it can be comparable to traditional molds regardless of tension and torque. Its strength can avoid the defects of injection mold damage and slow injection speed.
4. Forming:
This method is similar to riveting and welding methods. A concave weld head is pressed onto the outer ring of the plastic product. After the welding head generates ultrasonic ultra-high frequency vibration, the plastic is melted and molded to cover the metal object for fixing, with a smooth and beautiful appearance. This method is mostly used for fixing electronic products and speakers, as well as fixing cosmetic lenses.
5. Spot welding:
A. Two pieces of plastic are spot welded separately without the need of pre-designed welding wire to achieve the purpose of welding.
B. For larger workpieces, it is not easy to design the welding line of the workpiece for spot welding, and in order to achieve the welding effect, multiple spots can be spot welded at the same time.
6. Cutting and sealing:
Using the working principle of ultrasonic transient vibration to cut the chemical fiber fabric, the advantage is that the cut is smooth and does not crack or brush.
